Bake + Sway is a small baking business run by Pam in Sydney, Australia. This page explains what happens to the information you provide on this website. It is written in plain English and describes exactly what the website does today, nothing more.
What I collect
At the moment, this website does one thing: it lets you join my email list so I can let you know when the full website launches. If you sign up, I collect:
- your first name
- your email address
- the date you signed up and the wording you agreed to
That is all. There are no analytics, advertising pixels or third-party tracking on this page.
How I use it
I use your email address to let you know when the new website is live and to send you occasional emails from Bake + Sway afterwards, including new recipes, tasting box releases and other news. I won’t fill your inbox, and I never send emails on behalf of anyone else.
Who else sees it
Me, and the person who built this website. While the launch list is being set up, sign-ups arrive by email to both of us, and they travel through an email delivery service to get there. That is everyone. Your information is never sold, rented or shared with any other business for marketing purposes. The only exception would be if I were legally required to disclose it.
Unsubscribing
Every email I send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also reply to any email or write to pam@bakeandsway.com, and I’ll remove you from the list.
Seeing or deleting your details
You can ask me at any time what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it completely. Simply email pam@bakeandsway.com, and I’ll take care of it. Once you ask me to delete your details, they will be permanently removed and not kept as a copy.
Keeping it safe
Sign-ups arrive as an email and stay in password-protected mailboxes. There is no customer database behind this page and nothing is stored on the website itself. No system is perfect, but I only collect the information I genuinely need, which helps keep your information as safe as possible.
Changes to this page
If what I do with your information changes, I will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, I will let you know by email first.
